Shipping & Delivery

For US shipping please allow 2-3 working days for delivery, however, we are able to arrange express delivery for an additional fee. Please note express delivery is only guaranteed if you place your order before the cut-off time. Cut-off time is 2pm Monday to Thursday and 11am on Friday. Orders are not being dispatched on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays. Please always check the eta on the payment page.

We use a local courier company, and all bottles are shipped in specially designed packages that cushion each bottle to protect them from damage during shipping. The courier company will require a signature on delivery and all packages containing alcohol will require an adult over 18 to sign for the package. Please ensure that an adult is available to receive the package as the courier company will only make two delivery attempts before returning the package to us. Any packages returned to us due to failure to obtain an adult signature will be subject to an additional charge for re-shipment.

If your delivery address is outside the US please be aware that you may be liable and therefore responsible for customs duties and charges in your country.

SHIPPING RATES

Shipping and handling rates will vary based on the number of bottles, size of your gift baskets and the size and weight of your order and the shipping zip code.  Rates will also change as expedited shipping methods are selected.

STANDARD rates (shown in the shopping cart - first page of checkout) As you load items into your cart, the standard shipping rates will show on that first page of the shopping cart. The amount will also adjust as you add, delete, or change items and update your cart.

EXPEDITED options and rates (shown on the delivery page) Shipping options, rates and the available delivery dates will vary based on the products you are ordering and your shipping destination. Available expedited shipping methods and the associated charges are shown on the delivery page. At that time, you will be able to choose your preferred method and date before you place the order.

ALASKA or HAWAII rates (requires expedited methods and charges) Unfortunately, we cannot ship ground to Alaska or Hawaii! When shipping to Alaska or Hawaii, the shipping method required will default to an expedited method. Our shopping cart will indicate the required method and the total charge after you have entered the shipping address.

SELECTING A DELIVERY DATE (DONE ON THE DELIVERY PAGE AT CHECK OUT)

We offer date-specific deliveries for most items purchased. A calendar with all available delivery dates will be presented to you after you enter your shipping address. You can select a delivery date up to six months out by clicking on the calendar arrow to move forward months. Note that we cannot select a specific block of time for your delivery, only a specific date. The carrier will make three delivery attempts before the item is returned to our warehouse.

DAMAGED IN SHIPMENT

If you receive your wine / spirits and it has been damaged during shipment, please email us at info@melandrose.com within 3 days of receiving the shipment. Include a description of the damages and include pictures. This information is extremely helpful to us in making sure that our products are packaged and shipped properly. We will arrange for the damaged products to be replaced.

Please do not dispose of the damaged goods as it may be picked up by the carrier for examination.

REFUNDS Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

EXCHANGES We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@melandrose.com.
