We recently started our 30th year of business at Mel & Rose. It’s our many loyal customers to whom we owe our success. We produce a catalog jam-packed with delicious, inexpensive gems to grace your table every day. At family-owned Mel & Rose, a lot has changed since our first years when the entire staff was made up of just three people. We produced one catalog in 1992 and mailed it to a couple of hundred friends and now our catalog goes out to thousands of clients. What began as a 1,200-square-foot shop has expanded to include a 10,000-square-foot store with a massive collection of spirits, a full-service café and gourmet gift shop, plus a state-of-the-art temperature-controlled wine room with more than 25,000 wines and Champagnes from many different wineries and vintages. This selection represents the world’s finest growing regions from such diverse areas as California, Oregon, Washington, France, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Germany, Austria, New Zealand, Australia, and Portugal.

Mel & Rose is a wonderfully unique store. We have a reputation unsurpassed for excellence in the design and creativity of our beautiful gift baskets. We have been creating custom-made gift baskets since 1992, and count among our regular clients many of Hollywood’s talent agencies, movies studios, and law firms. Some of the clients include Netflix, Amazon, Disney Studios, Paramount Pictures, and Morgan Stanley.

We maintain a warehouse stocked with thousands of items and are the ultimate source for fine imported and domestic wines, spirits, gourmet food items, and specialty chocolates. Mel & Rose is a paradise found for serious food enthusiasts. This website has been created in response to requests from Mel & Rose customers all over the globe who love to shop at our Los Angeles location. We offer a full-service Italian deli, catering, and a selection of fine cheese and charcuterie.

Mel & Rose is a regular contributor to charities, including Race for MS, Aids Project L.A., Cystic Fibrosis, National Kidney Foundation, Looking Above & Beyond.
